Cuticle and care

  • Why cuticle oil?
Cuticle oil is an oil used to moisturise and hydrate the nail bed. Each product varies with ingredients however it's usually a combination of natural vegetable oils; anything from avocado, coconut and almond oil, as well as Vitamin E. The Vitamin E, helps to soften the skin and help repair any damage such as scars. Besides that, cuticle oil ensures gel-polish to stay much better. When your nail dries out, its likely for gel-polish to chip faster. When nails and cuticles are kept moisturised, this will happen less fast!

  • Can you cut your own cuticle?
I won’t encourage this. When your cut to much (which happens easily), its bleeds and will make wounds/scars. And in the and it will grow back even more..
Keep oiling & moisturising them! When you want them to be cut, go to a professional to be ensured it happens properly.

  • Damaged cuticles?
Use cuticle oil as much as you can:)

  • How often should I apply cuticle oil?
You can apply cuticle oil three times a day. However, if you have worn out cuticles, you can apply the oil every time you wash your hands. Place a few drops on your cuticles and gently massage them in an upwards motion. With consistent use, you will notice hydrated nails with healthy skin around them.
